C.L. Benton and Sons, Inc. is well equipped to meet all of your pile driving needs.  One method of pile driving we specialize in is the standard air-steam pile driving.  Connected to a crawler type crane, our auger (drill) and hammer-mounted leads have driven hundreds of thousands of piling across the Carolinas.  This time tested method is the best way to ensure a solid foundation under any structure.  Whether it be timber, concrete, or h and i-beams, our equipment is able to get the job done, successfully.

Another method of pile driving we specialize in is the use of our Movax Vibratory Hammer.  This pile driver is mounted to an excavator with all its hydraulic functions integrated into a joystick-mounted control. The Movax hammer itself has an articulating side grip that clasps onto whatever type of pile it is driving and uses high-frequency vibrations to drive the pile into the ground below.  It is designed to overcome tight spaces, low overhead clearance, and narrow work areas.  It also works great in the removal of piles.  The use of this equipment can be applied to timber, sheet, and h and i-beams.

Pile driving scope of work includes:

  • Concrete Piling
